MAP GROUP recognized the potential and scalability of the Indonesian market long before establishing its local entity and officially entered Indonesia in 2018, leveraging its extensive experience in chemical plant and architectural projects. Indonesia, the largest economy in Southeast Asia, continues to experience rapid economic growth, accompanied by soaring demand for industrial infrastructure. Anticipating these market trends early on, MAP GROUP boldly established its local subsidiary at a time when many Korean companies were still hesitant to enter the Indonesian market.

In its first year of establishment, MAP GROUP Indonesia secured the Line Project with Lotte Engineering & Construction, marking a strong and successful entry. This achievement reflected the company’s proven technical excellence and capabilities in both chemical plant and architectural fields. Currently, the Indonesia office is efficiently executing KT&G’s new factory project through close and seamless communication with headquarters.
