LH Gwangmyeong-Siheung A2-4BL Public Housing Design Competition Winner

This project seeks to create diverse living spaces beyond mere residential functions, where nature and city, people and spaces interconnect to generate vitality and meaning in life. We proposed rational building placement securing open visual axes to urban and natural contexts, and planned residential spaces structured to protect daily life from unpredictable environmental changes while adapting to crises. The design features human-scale pedestrian landscapes through communities following the organic riverside flow and three-dimensional balconies of low-rise buildings offering natural views.

With a total design fee of 3.5 billion won, the project won with a score of 95.89 points in collaboration between Hanbit Engineering Architecture Office and MAP Architecture.
